But the coolest part was I came out on the other side polished like a pearl and actually set apart in a way that blessed more than corrected me. And by choosing to share this, I honor a man I never met, but who I looked up to on multiple levels.
Rest in Peace and Power Jim Brown, you have most certainly earned it. You, too, were sifted, and you moved with such royalty throughout your whole life. Even your dark days were used to make you shine. I aspire to hold my mantle with such grace in the arenas where I do battle.
